Our business doctorates combine the academic study of business administration principles with the analysis of real world processes and practical management situations. Our theology doctorates address many diverse theological concentrations, ensuring that our graduates are well-versed in a wide range of theological areas and religious doctrinal approaches.

This month's featured Doctorate program: DBA in Organizational Behavior. Do you understand how individuals and groups behave in the corporate context? Are you a people person, able to strategize psychological and perceptual processes in order to maximize personal and organizational development? Then this DBA will certify your knowledge and skills in the business world. A recent Almeda University graduate, David G. works for a major mutli-national marketing firm in downtown Denver. Because he enjoys skiing and the winter wonderland lifestyle of nearby resorts, David is living his dream as his company's Director of Corporate Relations, pulling down a hefty $105k (+ benefits) annual salary that allows him to hit the slopes in his spare time. DeWayne S., another AU graduate, earned an immediate promotion within his Newark-based company upon earning his DBA. DeWayne went from making $39k a year to $67k virtually overnight, as his AU degree proved he deserved the title and position of Assistant Vice-President of Planning and Communications. A leader in textile processing, DeWayne's company is opening new markets globally, availing itself of Dewayne's skills in coordinating strategies and implementing them with employees. At last report, DeWayne could barely contain his excitement at the prospects of even greater possibilities for his career, hinting at a potential promotion and move to either Amsterdam or Singapore to help oversee his company's rapid international expansion!

Almeda University offers Master Degrees in both business and theology. For more information about any of Almeda's Master Degrees, click on this link. In order to attain a position as a business executive or a church Pastor-just to name two potential career paths-an MBA or MA in theology is often required. Some companies and congregations will not even consider applicants unless they have a Master degree. Almeda's MBA and MA in Theology programs are conceived as a blend of academic study with the analysis of real world processes through the demonstration of practical experience.

This month's featured Master Degree program: Master of Theology (MT) in Ministry. Do you have an aptitude and proficiency in the Bible? Are you a Deacon, Assistant-Pastor, or dreaming of leading a congregation of your own? You know in your heart that you know Scripture, but you just don't have the credentials to prove it. By earning your Almeda University MT degree, you can demonstrate to the world that you have true knowledge of God's Word. LaTonya M. earned her MT in Ministry from AU several years ago and now she is shepherding her own flock in a beautiful rural area of South Carolina very near where she grew up singing in her local church choir. She knows and loves the Bible through and through and now she has her own church, congregation, and wonderful calling in Ministry, while also earning close to $40,000 a year-a very livable salary for her modest, yet richly rewarding life. Pastor Donyell G. grew up in a spiritual home, reading the Bible regularly, always wanting to be a preacher, but never having the opportunity for formal education until he enrolled in AU's MT program. Now he enjoys a fulfilling role as Pastor of a 1000+ congregation of the faithful in a middle-class suburb of Boston. As he readily acknowledges, his $57k position only became possible after he earned his MT degree in Ministry from AU.

Almeda University offers Bachelor Degrees in many areas, including Arts, Business Administration, Divinity, Theology, Social Work, and Commerce. For more information about any of Almeda's Bachelor Degrees, click on this link. Many government and industry studies have ascertained that people with college degrees make on average over $1,000,000 more in their lifetime than people without college degrees. B.A. and B.S. degrees from Almeda University open doors and dramatically improve your job and promotion prospects over those unfortunate folks who don't have a college degree.

This month's featured Bachelors Degree: B.S. in Social Services. Do you work well with people, want to help them, and wish you could make a positive effect upon the world? As a person who understands what motivates people, sympathizes with their plight, and is determined to make a difference in their lives, you can have a rewarding career in social service with an AU B.S. degree. Take Betrice R., for example. She is a single-mother, once on welfare, but now supporting herself and her two kids nicely on her $35k salary, made possible by her AU degree. Miami is her home, born and raised, and now she is dedicating her working life to helping others find the stability and success that she has. She loves people and told me that thanks to her AU degree she is able to use her skills that otherwise would have "gone to waste," as she puts it. Every day, she goes to work to "help people get a better life." What could be more rewarding than that? Pablo J. feels the same way. A social worker for a private, non-profit organization in Los Angeles, Pablo secured his $33,500 position thanks to his AU degree. A second generation Mexican-American, Pablo has long felt a deep need to give back to both America and those who have been less fortunate than him. As a social worker, Pablo spends his day listening to people's problems, needs, and dreams, and then using all the resources at his disposal to help them pull themselves out of poverty and onto the road to the American Dream!

Almeda University offers Associates of Arts (A.A.) degrees in many areas within Arts (including Education, Social Services, and Liberal Arts) and Associate of Sciences degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Computer Science. For more information about any of Almeda's A.A. or A.S. degrees, click on this link. The benefits of an A.A. or A.S. degree are enormous. You can position yourself for a raise, a better job, and more respect within your field. Often, it's just a matter of that A.A. or A.S. degree keeping you from taking the next step in your career.

This month's featured Associate degree: A.S. in Telecommunications. You know you're good: you've spent your whole life, since you were 6 years old, tinkering with electronics, taking apart your Dad's old Sony Walkman and then not long ago your sister's iPod and putting them back together again. You have this intuitive way with even the most intricate networking configurations. But you don't have a degree to prove it. Then join Jason W. who late last year earned his A.S. in Telecommunications from AU and immediately got a job as Assistant Line Technician for a very busy business and home installation service that independently contracts for two of Chicago's biggest phone and cable companies. Jason makes upwards of $35-40k a year, doing what he loves and proving the value and validity of AU's A.S. degree every single day he's on the job. Pam B. also has used her AU degree to advance her career hopes. Currently a phone rep for a major telecommunications firm in Seattle, she is enrolled in their technician training program and will soon be DOUBLING her hourly wage when she joins a crew on the road. This major improvement in her earnings would not have been possible, "no way!" says Pam, without her A.S. degree from AU gaining her entrance into this coveted and highly competitive program!
